The Practitioner programme will allow you to individually apply your knowledge from the Masterclass and receive expert consultant feedback and peer reviews to sharpen your skills.

Who should attend?
The course is aimed at colleagues who have completed Cowry’s BeSci Foundation and Masterclass who are looking to apply their BeSci knowledge and skills to a small, live work brief and get expert feedback and coaching on their work.
You will be keen to:
- Embed the use of behavioural science in your role at work
- Spot work challenges that can be addressed through identifying psychological friction and fluency
- Support Behavioural Science champions in applying BeSci principles and frameworks to work briefs such as communications

About the course
Behavioural Science champions will be coached in the application of Cowry’s Behavioural audit and optimisation process and:
- Apply knowledge from Cowry’s Masterclass to work through a live, independent brief

Do I need to complete the Masterclass before joining?
Yes. The Practitioner course builds directly on the Masterclass, so scholars are required to complete it beforehand. This ensures a strong foundation and allows the programme to focus on applying behavioural science to real business challenges with expert support.

Is there an assessment component?
No. The Practitioner course does not include a formal assessment. Instead, it focuses on applied learning through a live brief, supported by expert feedback.
Each scholar also receives a 1:1 coaching session with a Cowry consultant, providing tailored guidance, feedback on their work, and support in applying behavioural science to real challenges.

What’s the difference between the Masterclass and the Practitioner Course?
The Masterclass builds capability. It equips scholars with the frameworks, tools and confidence to understand and apply behavioural science across their role.
The Practitioner course focuses on application. Scholars work on a live brief, applying those frameworks in practice with expert coaching and feedback to drive real business outcomes.
